Bus: Kovalam’s KSRTC bus stand is near Vizhinjam-Poovar road. It has services once in every 15 minutes to Thiruvanthapuram.

Kovalam is one of the most popular beach resorts in Kerala and forms an important tourist spot on Kerala visit. The beach is just a few minutes walk from the village. The beaches of Kovalam can be divided in three parts. The southern most beach and the most popular from the three, is the Lighthouse Beach.
